Time goes so fast.... here we are at the end of another mountain, next year a bigger mountain awaits us.... Seems so fast how the time goes
Since first year ( Ray c memorable BOBO) to the boys weekly soccer competition, and here at the end of semester 2 of our second year....

Who knows what awaits each and everyone of us...

This is one EXPENSIVE mouse, the impressive features of it, it's that its made out of grade 1 titanium, high quality resin and has a neodymiun scroll ( no idea what the hell it is )....

This futuristic looking baby is wireless through bluetooth and will cost you a hole in your pocket.... $1200 Dammm imagine the computer...

Enough Of chopstick For a lifetime

After undertaking the Dining assignment, and focusing on chopstick and chopstick rest.... I had enough of looking at chopsticks for a life time. I can't even use chopstick peacefully after this assignment, every time i use a chopstick I can't help to analyse the material and dimension of it... *sigh*

Bellow are some image and posters that environmental have used to promote the environmental destruction that those wooden disposable creates.



These waste will end up in the incinerator or in the landfill... Stop Using Disposable Chopstick people....

VA theory assigment.. Mouse analysis

Yesterday after talkin to some 3rd year industrial students about Theory VA assignment, they influenced me to do a VA on an optical mouse instead of the chosen product before which was the blender. The mouse is easier to be analysed and also provide sufficient details for the assignment...

Rapid 3D Printing

After lookin at some of 3rd year project yesterday, i noticed that some of the student's used Rapid 3D prototype printer that are available in the workshop. After seeing the stand alone exhibit they presented, I started to research this new technology..... AWESOMMEEEEE no more long hours slaving in the workshop!!!!

Thumb Drive, Material assigment

For our Materials and workshop 3rd assigment we are asked to dissambled a 2gb USB flash Drive and design and create a new housing thats involves Fit and assembly. The above USB thumb drive is the inspiration to my design bellow.

The Casing for My thumb drive is bought from a magic shop and utilising this product, I've designed the PCB to fit comfortably inside the casing and assembled and held together by Balsa wood and adhesives.

Inspiration Chopstick

please forgive the poor quality of the picture, this was taken by my phone in a rush from a Japanese design store that my tutor told me to visit. The store is pretty unique ( abit expensive if you ask me, $30 for a chopstick......) but this sort of got me to the essence of the product that my tutor was after, this portable chopstick is stored inside a transparent plastic case and the lid can be used as a chopstick rest.

Talking to one of my Lecturer yesterday and she said that I've kinda lost the essence of my first concept that blend the essence of the beauty and poetry of origami into Japanese dining rituals, Looking back into the first concept after dooing some research into origami style product I encounter this concept.




The Minimax concept by Marc Illan is a foldable sneakers that can be folded into a flatten sole, not much of an innovation with the slips on sneakers that can be squeezed flat....

This new release LG GD900 is the future of TOLED, this phone incorporate the New TOLED screen technology on it's Key pad. I've mentioned the new TOLED technology and its functions on this blog last month, it's quite impressive how fast the new technology is corporated into the main stream consumer product.

The Sliding keypad glow's when opened. It's impressive features also include a 8 mp camera and 32 Gb of internal memory...... Impressive

PSP goes sexy....

Is it me or game console are getting smaller and more sexier, this new released PSP go is smaller, lighter and definately more sexier than the original PSP console. It also has a bigger screen at 4.3 inch wide lcd, it also has all the usual such as interner acces, music player, video player and so on.... I kno what I want for Christmas now

Eating at Japenese restaurants.. Killing the environment...?

Now that i got your attention with the above picture of this model promoting portable Chopstick bra in Japan.

While I was researching into Japanese chopstick and its ettiquette I came across the very threat to the world environment... Disposable Chopstick.

Every year 90 000 tonnes f timber are cut down to produce disposable chopstick, research suggest thats about the average of 200 pairs of chopstick per person.

Disposable chopstick is a real threat, 410 000 cubic meters in China alone is cut to produce them. Thats alot of land and natural habitat being deforested and destroyed. Not to mention Disposable chopstick contains harmful chemical from fungicides and bleach that present health hazzards.

So i say Go Portable chopstick...

Origami chopstik

For our urban tribe assigment the culture that I've chosen is the Imperial Japanese culture lol. What I want to focus on in Japanese dining rituals is the General dining rituals and ettiquette, for eg like handling the bowl with two hands, using chopstick rest.


I personally eat alot of Japanese food, and in all the restaurants that i visit one important element is missing their Chopstick manners and Chopstick rest. With the use of spoon and fork the chopstick tradition and ettiquette and its importance is fading.


I was Researching some history and reasons for chopstick Rest when I came across this; A methodology of turning the chopstick wrapper into an origami chopstick rest, I will look further into them and try and incoorporate this methodology into my next assignment.

Harnessing Sunshine

The world is facing it's worst worst environmental crisis since the ice age and the dawn of the dinasour ( been watchin ice age lol ), Burning fossil fuel is one of the major factor causing global warming.

This new concept is very simple, the solar curtain on your window absorbed and harness the renewable solar enerygy and store it to a battery pack, and at night time you can plug any appliance into the battery pack. Thus we use less energy and lessen the enviromental impact.

This product will definately brighten up the world.....

Andrew Fowkes Favourite Concepts... ahehhaa

This has got to be Andrew Fowkes favourite design concepts, After showing us his impressive and yet messy colllection of his Copic markers his got to be dying to get one of these baby's in his pencil case.

Instead of fumbling through your pencil case looking for the right tone for your markers, you can just reach in your almost empty pencil case to reach for one Marker; The Braun Markerfool marker pen.

This pen can magicly provide a range of colours from one single pen by the wonder of technology, using an inkjet printer technology to blend the ink together. You can choose the colour settings of the pen by the touch screen menu on the pen, it can mix the colour Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black!

Even with this cool product, I'm sure my sketching and rendering skill are still crap..... Aiishhhhhhh ( still waiting for a pen that sketch for you)

Las Vegas Comin to Sydney

I just bought tickets to Danny Green Vs Roy Jones Jr boxing match for the IBO world cruiser weight on December the 2nd.

Ticket was selling like crazy, still manage to get a B reserve ticket for $125. (Cheap assuming thats it's going to be a great bout and once in a life time event in Sydney)
