Eating at Japenese restaurants.. Killing the environment...?

Now that i got your attention with the above picture of this model promoting portable Chopstick bra in Japan.

While I was researching into Japanese chopstick and its ettiquette I came across the very threat to the world environment... Disposable Chopstick.

Every year 90 000 tonnes f timber are cut down to produce disposable chopstick, research suggest thats about the average of 200 pairs of chopstick per person.

Disposable chopstick is a real threat, 410 000 cubic meters in China alone is cut to produce them. Thats alot of land and natural habitat being deforested and destroyed. Not to mention Disposable chopstick contains harmful chemical from fungicides and bleach that present health hazzards.

So i say Go Portable chopstick...
